Terms & Conditions

  • Check-in time from 1600hrs/4.00pm on day of arrival and departure no later than 1000hrs/10.00am.
  • Old Temperance House B&B requires a 30% deposit to secure a room and the balance is due on departure. * See Covid-19 requirements below.
  • Ginentonic Self-Catering Cottage requires a 40% deposit to secure a booking and the balance paid 6 weeks before arrival. If the booking is made less than 6 weeks before arrival, the full balance is due at the time of booking.
  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • You agree to keep the property clean, tidy and report any breakages or problems to the owners. The property and associated equipment, furnishings and bedding are checked before and after any let. Breakages and missing items will be charged at replacement or repair costs.
  • The cottage and B&B are both non-smoking premises. You may smoke in the courtyard outside the premises but request you dispose of your ashtray.
  • Keys, either lost or non-returned will be charged a £150.00 to cover the expense of replacing door locks and keys.
  • Minimum stay at the B&B 2 nights, Ginentonic Self-Catering Cottage 3 nights.
  • All parking in The Square is free.
  • We accept cash, bank transfer, cheques, Visa, MasterCard and debit cards.
  • We regret that we are unable to accept payment by American Express or any foreign currency.
  • By making your booking and paying a deposit, you accept our Terms & Conditions.
